WW: Oatmeal kvass



(Квас из овса. Made from toasted rolled oats. Very good; light and dry when well-chilled, with a honey-like perfume. Will be most welcome this summer.)

  1. Interesting beverage! In my country (Turkey) we have another fermented cereal (wheat) based beverage: Boza! But we drink it in winter and it should be consumed within a week.

  2. Hi Muge! Kvass also has a short shelf-life. I think I've stretched it two weeks, but like your drink, it's best consumed punctually.

    I'll have to check out boza. I like all that kind of stuff.
