WW: Lady fern sprout and scrambled egg crêpes

(To be specific: whole-wheat sourdough lady-fern sprout and scrambled-egg crêpes in a white sauce. Part of my annual spring-greens crêpe festival.)

Appearing also on My Corner of the World.

  1. It does look tempting, and definitely a springtime dish with fern heads. I don't think I could lop off my emerging fern heads just to enjoy a dish. Do more emerge if that is done?

  2. I don't know if the plant sends up more sprouts, but generally there are enough that you can take a few without hurting the bed. I don't know what you have but normally there are several ferns in a given place. Just be certain the type you have is edible and palatable.

  3. A good reminder that our "corners" don't just include the outdoor scenes in our views, but also so much more.

  4. The things I learn on the internet! That sounds quite intriguing although I'm not a really adventurous person when it comes to food.

Thanks for sharing your link at My Corner of the World this week!
