WW: Smoke bush

(Cotinus coggygria)

Appearing also on My Corner of the World.

  1. Great shot of this attractive plant!

  2. Yeah. Funny thing is, they're that colour all year long, except when the leaves fall in winter. And they pick up low light exceptionally well.

  3. Such an fabulous color! I had to look up this plant and it seems to be quite popular here in New Zealand :)

I appreciate your link at 'My Corner of the World' this week!

  4. Not surprised to learn smoke bush is popular in Enzed, Betty. Your environment there (at least on the South Island) is very similar to ours here in the North Pacific. I imagine we hold most exotic ornamentals (and invasives) in common.

    Thanks for the comment!
