It is! I take my jack o' lanterns seriously. In fact, once many years ago, when I was married, I carved one that was so scary that the littlest goblins were afraid to ring our doorbell. My wife made me blow out the candle, and forbad me to make it that scary the next year.
I've never had a trick-or-treater in this place, where there are few adults and no children, but I fly the flag (or at least the pumpkin) religiously every year, and buy a small bag of candy, just in case.
That is a good job. Is it your handiwork?
